Take care of your brain doing research
Dr. Talozzi is a neuroscientist with over 11 years of research experience. She started as a physicist involved in MRI acquisition protocols and later specialized in imaging analysis and its integration with multi-omics data, gaining disease-specific expertise in linking MRI biomarkers with genetic and proteomic information. Given her expertise in computational modeling, she has collaborated on research across multiple brain pathologies, spanning mitochondrial diseases, brain tumors, and stroke. Since her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford, she has spent the last four years specializing in Alzheimer’s disease, investigating its genetic predisposition. Now at the University of Parma, she leads the LATENT-AD project, funded by the Italian Government's Young Researcher Award 2024, and is paving the way for her independent research program by integrating multi-omics and imaging to drive innovation in neurodegenerative disease research.
